Work in progress of the recipe/ingredient cards. There are some variations for style as well as what the other cards will look like, just to see what the rest of the team thinks.

Mis-Chef Cards

I wrote up the "official" text for the Mis-Chef Cards. I basically made the text more clear on most, but changed some based on what was discussed in class. I also made some minor changes to the names of some cards.

-Haste Makes Waste

Your movement is doubled for one turn. This card must be played before you roll the die.

-Too Many Cooks Spoil the Broth

Steal one Ingredient Card from the player of your choice. The target player’s hand may not be seen.

-Slippery When Wet

The player of your choice loses their turn. This card must be played before the target player takes any action.

-Reconnaissance

Look at any one player’s Mis-Chef Cards. You may steal one Mis-Chef Card from that player.

-Employees Must Wash Hands

The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card.

-Rotten Food

Play this card when any player is about to take a new Ingredient Card. The target player cannot take a new Ingredient on that turn.

-Assistant Chef

Instead of taking a new Ingredient Card from the room you currently occupy, you may attempt to take a new Ingredient from another room by rolling the die. If the result is even, the attempt is successful. If the result is odd, the attempt fails.

-Extra Set of Hands

You may carry one extra Ingredient Card until you drop off your Ingredients. Keep this cards with your Ingredients as a reminder of its effects.

-Stale

The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Pantry.

-Salmonella Poisoning

The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Meat Locker.

-No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk

The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Fridge.

-Meager Harvest

The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Garden.

-Stock Up

You may draw an extra Ingredient Card.

-Change of Plans

The player of your choice must discard their current Recipe Card and replace it with a new Recipe.

-Cookbook

After completing your current Recipe, you may search the Recipe deck for the Recipe Card of your choice, rather than drawing the top card.

I didn't change the Cookbook card, as I couldn't remember what changes had been made to the rules when the player gets a new recipe. We could easily change it to a reverse of the Change of Plans card, where it is played at any time. Or we could remove both (even with only one in the deck, it does seem a little cheap, despite fitting in with the game) and maybe replace them with two other cards.

Player Token "Prototype"

Here's a chef hat that I made out of sculpey. As the post title says, it's just a prototype so the wrinkles aren't perfect. I search for pics, and found a somewhat-subtle variety of styles, and now I'm wondering if the player tokens should be different styles of hats or identical (or as identical as I can sculpt them). Obviously, either way, they'll still be different colors.

I'll post some stuff for the Mis-Chef Cards later.

*edit* Shoot, I forgot to include measurements. The base is roughly 3/4" across, while the top is about 1 1/4" at its widest. The top is a bit big for the 1" grid, but since I haven't baked it, I can make some changes.
