This is the concept board and design journal for a board game about cooking.
-Haste Makes Waste
Your movement is doubled for one turn. This card must be played before you roll the die.
-Too Many Cooks Spoil the Broth
Steal one Ingredient Card from the player of your choice. The target player’s hand may not be seen.
-Slippery When Wet
The player of your choice loses their turn. This card must be played before the target player takes any action.
-Reconnaissance
Look at any one player’s Mis-Chef Cards. You may steal one Mis-Chef Card from that player.
-Employees Must Wash Hands
The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card.
-Rotten Food
Play this card when any player is about to take a new Ingredient Card. The target player cannot take a new Ingredient on that turn.
-Assistant Chef
Instead of taking a new Ingredient Card from the room you currently occupy, you may attempt to take a new Ingredient from another room by rolling the die. If the result is even, the attempt is successful. If the result is odd, the attempt fails.
-Extra Set of Hands
You may carry one extra Ingredient Card until you drop off your Ingredients. Keep this cards with your Ingredients as a reminder of its effects.
-Stale
The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Pantry.
-Salmonella Poisoning
The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Meat Locker.
-No Use Crying Over Spilled Milk
The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Fridge.
-Meager Harvest
The player of your choice must discard one Ingredient Card that came from the Garden.
-Stock Up
You may draw an extra Ingredient Card.
-Change of Plans
The player of your choice must discard their current Recipe Card and replace it with a new Recipe.
-Cookbook
After completing your current Recipe, you may search the Recipe deck for the Recipe Card of your choice, rather than drawing the top card.
